In Cameroon, the price per kilogram of cocoa increases by 150 FCFA one month before the end of the 2025-2026 season

Stuck between 1500 and 1550 FCFA since May 22, 2026, cocoa prices in Cameroon rose by 150 FCFA to 1650-1700 FCFA on June 8, 2026, according to the SIF data from the ONCC. This increase comes one month before the theoretical end of the cocoa season on July 15, 2026, and may reflect strong purchasing activity. However, prices remain well below initial forecasts of 3200 to 5400 FCFA/kg.
