Mzoli Ngcawuzele, the visionary behind Mzoli's Place, passes away

Mzoli Ngcawuzele, widely known as 'Ta Mzo', the visionary founder of the iconic restaurant Mzoli's Place in Gugulethu, has passed away at his home following an illness. He put Gugulethu on the global map with his shisanyama, providing employment for dozens of locals and a platform for small businesses. Despite suffering a stroke in 2024, he remained resilient, stating that his ill health would not hold him back.
