Iran: Netanyahu urges immediate strikes after November 3, Trump prefers negotiations

Ahead of the November 3 US midterm elections, Donald Trump has not committed to resuming strikes against Iran. In a call on October 31, Benjamin Netanyahu urged him to act the day after the vote, while Trump prefers to give negotiations with Tehran more time. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said no decision had been made, though Trump has suggested the US may still need to deal with one or two Iranian nuclear sites. Israel’s Channel 14 reported that around 80 US refueling aircraft, along with at least ten large transport planes, were in Israel.
