Burundi agrees to host migrants expelled from the USA

Burundi announced it will host people expelled from the United States, provided they have no links to terrorism or criminal charges, according to presidential spokesperson Nancy Ninette Mutoni. A flight carrying about 70 individuals was scheduled from Louisiana to Burundi, Rwanda, and the Central African Republic. The decision is based on Burundi's traditional hospitality and aims to strengthen cooperation with other African countries that have previously accepted expelled individuals under US immigration policies.
