Agricultural firm Sasini has terminated the planned sale of its Gulmarg coffee estate in Kiambu County for Sh7.9 billion after the buyer failed to meet contractual obligations. The asset, with a carrying value of Sh3.7 billion, had been classified as held for sale in September 2025. Sasini reported a net loss of Sh170.8 million for the half year ended March, attributed to higher costs.
