Bauchi governor drops two commissioners

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has dropped two commissioners from the State Executive Council less than a year before the end of his administration. The affected commissioners are Mohammed Salis Gamawa (Commerce, Industries and Investment) and Dr. Mohammed Lawal Rimin Zayam (Education, who was reassigned). The governor also accepted the resignation of Commissioner for Rural Development and Special Duties, Faruk Mustapha. Nominees for replacements have been forwarded to the Bauchi State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
