The opposition rejects the dialogue initiated by Félix Tshisekedi

President Félix Tshisekedi announced on August 27 the convening of a national dialogue to address crises in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, particularly insecurity in the East. However, the Coalition Article 64 (C64) rejects this initiative, calling it a diversion and demanding a consensual framework and guarantees of inclusivity. The C64 also opposes any constitutional revision that could extend Tshisekedi's term beyond 2028.
