Troops foil Kaduna church attack, rescue 31 abducted worshippers

Troops of the Nigerian Army foiled a terrorist attack and rescued 31 worshippers abducted during an Easter service in Ariko Village, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Following a distress call, military forces quickly mobilized and engaged the attackers in a firefight. While 31 hostages were rescued, the operation also uncovered five victims killed by the assailants. The military continues to pursue the attackers to locate any remaining captives.
