Army parachutes onto Tristan da Cunha to help Briton with suspected hantavirus

British Army medics parachuted onto the remote island of Tristan da Cunha to assist a British national with suspected hantavirus. The man disembarked from the MV Hondius cruise ship in April and reported symptoms two weeks later. He is currently in isolation and in stable condition. Three deaths have been confirmed in the outbreak, including two linked to hantavirus.
