Senegal: A migrant trafficking network dismantled, three suspects referred

On April 26, the National Division for the Fight Against Migrant Trafficking referred three suspects to the Public Prosecutor in Fatick for fraud and attempted migrant trafficking. A structured network was recruiting migrants for clandestine trips to Spain, with victims paying between 300,000 and 430,000 CFA francs. Investigations revealed a transport system using a Gambian vehicle and a motorcycle taxi to bypass border controls.
