Nsam High School tragedy: Nalova Lyonga calls crisis meeting after violence

Secondary Education Minister Nalova Lyonga is chairing a crisis meeting on Thursday with Nsam Bilingual Technical High School officials, education stakeholders and security forces. The meeting is examining Wednesday, October 21’s traffic accident, in which first-year student Feudjio Kidio Junior Cabrel died; classmates Noudelsia Jimmy and Eba Mindja Daniel were injured and taken to hospital. Following news of the tragedy, students vandalized school property, infrastructure and equipment, prompting authorities to restore order. Classes were suspended on Thursday, and no resumption date has been announced.
