Mali: A lawyer and politician critical of the junta kidnapped overnight

Malian lawyer and politician Me Mountaga Tall was kidnapped by masked men in Bamako. His disappearance comes as the junta faces a major crisis, with attacks from Tuareg separatists and Al-Qaeda-linked jihadists. Tall, a former member of the M5-RFP movement, had distanced himself from the military in power, becoming a vocal critic of the junta.
