Spain’s National Police are investigating the death of CD Tenerife striker Jesús de Miguel after he collided with FC Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono during Monday’s match at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium. The 30-year-old died at Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria Hospital at 8:00 am, hours after the incident, and the case is now under judicial supervision. Spanish media reported that he suffered cardiac arrest and was resuscitated before being admitted to intensive care. Tenerife said his neurological condition had worsened before announcing his death.
