ENAFEP: a liana bridge facilitates students' crossing to their centers in Walikale

A temporary liana bridge was installed on June 3, 2026 in Walikale to replace the Hombo bridge, which collapsed hours before the start of the ENAFEP exam. Thanks to community mobilization, students from over ten schools were able to reach their exam centers. Three children who fell into the water were rescued and are receiving care. The GAPE association is calling for a sustainable reconstruction of the bridge.
