Five dead, 11 hospitalised as 3-storey building collapses in Abuja

At least five people were killed and 16 others rescued after a three-storey building under construction collapsed in the Gudu district of Abuja around 3:30 am. Of the 16 individuals pulled from the rubble, 11 were taken alive to hospitals for treatment. Search and rescue operations are ongoing, with emergency teams on the scene. The Federal Capital Territory Minister has directed that all casualties receive free medical treatment.
