The ABC, ADC and APC of Nigerian politics, by Owei Lakemfa

The current political crisis in Nigeria centers on the African Democratic Congress (ADC), whose leadership was delisted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The ADC leaders attempted to register a new political party but were denied, leading them to adopt the ADC as a fallback position. They complied with all constitutional rules and invited INEC to observe their processes, which were endorsed by the Commission.
