Functioning of Institutions: Dr Ndéné Mbodj, Director General of COUD, Lectures Sonko

Dr Ndéné Mbodj, Director General of the Center for University Works of Dakar (COUD), warned about the dangers of ignorance of Senegalese political institutions during a book signing. He stated that the current crises in the National Assembly stem from a misunderstanding of the French Fifth Republic models. He emphasized that neither the Constitution nor the National Assembly should be treated lightly, as they are designed to structure executive power. He noted that Senegal inherited these institutions and must learn from the past.
