Attractiveness and Diaspora: Ivory Coast Crowned 'Crossroads of Talents' for Second Consecutive Year

Ivory Coast was named 'Crossroads of Talents' for the second consecutive year at the African Business Club (ABC) Excellence Gala on June 26, 2026. The award, based on the African Talents Repat survey, recognizes African nations with the most favorable conditions for the return of their expatriate executives and entrepreneurs. Bakayoko Ly-Ramata, ambassador and permanent delegate to UNESCO, received the prize on behalf of President Alassane Ouattara. Reforms highlighted include the Start-up Act, university tech incubators, and entrepreneurship support programs.
