2027: Bishop rallies northern Christians for Tinubu

Bishop John Praise Daniel, head of Dominion Chapel International, urged Christians in northern Nigeria to support President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid. Speaking at the opening of the Arewa Christians for Tinubu (ACT-2027) national secretariat in Abuja, he called on them to overcome ethnic, political and denominational divisions and mobilise communities down to villages and local wards. Daniel said Christian appointments, including George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Christopher Musa as Defence Minister, reinforced his support, alongside hopes for action on insecurity.
