About a hundred Congolese nationals have been stranded for nearly two weeks at Rusumo, on the border between Tanzania and Rwanda, unable to return to the DRC. Rwandan authorities deny them transit due to Ebola-related health measures. Among them are small traders, transporters, and families, who are appealing for help from the Congolese government, the UN, and humanitarian organizations. Living conditions are deteriorating: many families, including women and children, are sleeping outdoors and lack food.
