The ADC Presidential Campaign Council accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of trying to weaken opposition parties through intimidation, attacks and financial inducements. It cited reported attacks on ADC members in Kaduna, the alleged assault of its Sokoto governorship candidate Munir Dan Iya, the demolition of its campaign office in Kebbi State, and the alleged denial of a campaign venue to Peter Obi in Enugu. It urged Nigerians to defend democracy and said the alleged actions would not stop the ADC’s political activities.
