Cyrille Tollo, the technical advisor at the Ministry of Sports, stated that the responsibility for choosing stadiums for the Indomitable Lions' matches lies with FECAFOOT. He explained that the state finances part of the costs associated with using sports facilities. Tollo also recalled a conflict in 2025 between the Ministry of Sports and FECAFOOT regarding the choice of stadium for an AFCON qualifying match, where the Roumdé Adjia stadium in Garoua was ultimately selected.
