Iran President Pezeshkian calls for unity as US ramps up economic pressure

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that officials and Iranians will remain united against US economic pressure, emphasizing that national cohesion is enough to 'neutralize' any attempts to create discord. He also mentioned that the economic measures would not force his government to make abrupt policy shifts that could lead to further unrest. Nevertheless, his administration plans to double the price of one of the three tiers of petrol quotas for private vehicles in the coming weeks.
