2027: APC will campaign on achievements, not insults, Gov. Yusuf says

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf said the APC would campaign for the 2027 general election by presenting its achievements, plans and voters’ concerns rather than making personal attacks. At the inauguration of the party’s presidential and gubernatorial campaign council management team in Kano, he urged members to mobilize voters and make Kano the state with the highest number of votes for President Bola Tinubu. Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo was appointed director-general, with Bala Muhammad Gwagwarwa named first deputy director-general. Yusuf said further appointments and subcommittees would follow and urged party members not to be intimidated by the opposition.

He said politically unaffiliated voters—the “floaters party”—could influence the 2027 presidential election.
