Benin: Édouard Ouin-Ouro Takes on a New Role in the Senate

Édouard Ouin-Ouro has been appointed as the labor administrator of the Senate of Benin by an order signed on September 8, 2026. This appointment, made by Senate President Patrice Talon, is temporary and aims to ensure the administrative and financial functioning of the new institution until the administrative regulations are adopted. The Senate, whose members were installed on July 30, 2026, is in the structuring phase following the constitutional revision of December 2025.
