Insecurity: Halt rehabilitations, try B-Haram members, Senate tells FG

The Nigerian Senate has called on the Federal Government to stop rehabilitating and reintegrating former Boko Haram members, demanding instead their arrest and prosecution. The resolution followed a motion by Senator Abdulaziz Yar’Adua amid rising attacks on military personnel. The Senate also observed a minute of silence for late Major-General Rabe Abubakar. Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army reported the surrender of two senior terrorist commanders in Borno.
