U17 AFCON: 4 Senegalese champions and 2 Moroccans in the 2026 edition's best XI

CAF announced the Best XI of the 2026 U17 Africa Cup of Nations, won by Senegal after a final against Tanzania (1-1, 4-2 on penalties). Senegal contributes four players: goalkeeper Assane Sarr, full-backs Lamine Mbengue and Thierno Sow, and winger Mouhamed Wagner, named Man of the Match. Hosts Morocco have two representatives: striker Mohamed Amine Moustache and defender Adam Soudi. Tournament MVP Issa Chole from Tanzania is also included.
