Anambra Govt confirms arrest of pastor accused of taking 75 married women as wives

The Anambra State government has confirmed the arrest of Pastor Harrison Charles, owner of Day Spring Assembly in Awada, Onitsha, accused of taking up to 75 married women from their husbands. His victims, mostly church members, accuse him of forcing them to swap wives and taking members' wives for himself. About eleven babies were found in his home during the arrest, and he claims to be their father, from eleven of his wives. The pastor has been handed over to the police, and a joint investigation between the police and state government is ongoing.
