Libya: 7 migrants rescued at sea, 17 dead in distressed ship

The Libyan Red Crescent reported that a patrol boat rescued seven people and recovered 17 bodies during an operation off the coast of Libya. This mission, deemed one of the most challenging, took place about 300 km from Italy. While the nationality of the victims was not specified, the organization provided humanitarian aid to the survivors in collaboration with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
