Xenophobia in South Africa: 60 Senegalese Return to Dakar After Years of Hardship

Sixty Senegalese, including children, returned to Dakar after years of harassment and xenophobic violence in South Africa. Upon arrival, they were welcomed by the Directorate General of Senegalese Abroad, which has set up support measures for their reintegration. This return is part of a voluntary repatriation operation, amid ongoing concerns about violence against foreigners in South Africa.
