SIMA 2026: African music aims to strengthen its influence

The Francophone African Music Industry Salon (SIMA) will take place on November 12 and 13, 2026, in Cotonou, Benin, under the theme 'African Music: From the Stage to the Power of Influence.' This edition aims to transform the international visibility of African music into economic returns. Three main areas will be addressed: competitiveness, connections between music and other sectors, and public policies. Additionally, a SIMA Lab Music will gather artists to produce a collaborative EP.
