2027: We were not in Ibadan for any opposition summit - LP lawmaker clarifies

Dr Philip Agbese, the Deputy Spokesperson of the House of Representatives, clarified that the Labour Party (LP) was not part of the opposition gathering in Ibadan. He emphasized that the party is focused on its upcoming National Convention scheduled for April 28, 2026, and on strengthening its internal structures ahead of the 2027 general elections. Agbese also stated that internal cohesion and organizational stability are central to the LP's strategy.
