Troops arrest suspected foreign spy after foiled terrorist infiltration in Borno

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI arrested a suspected foreign spy, Abubakar Mohammed Zen, during a follow-up operation in Abadam Local Government Area of Borno State. The arrest occurred on July 13 at Mallam Fatori after terrorists attempted to infiltrate a military position at Cross Kauwa on July 11. The suspect, claiming to be a citizen of Niger, is in custody undergoing interrogation to verify his identity and possible links to terrorist groups. Items recovered include a mobile phone, Airtel recharge cards, a horse, and N500 cash.
