Benin: United States trains Navy in combat casualty care – La Nouvelle Tribune

A two-day medical training concluded at the Cotonou Naval Base for Benin Navy personnel, announced by the US Embassy in Benin. The sessions were led by AFRICOM instructors and focused on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), teaching sailors how to stabilize patients, stop hemorrhages, and clear airways. The training is part of bilateral military cooperation dating back to 1960, including an agreement with AFRICOM signed in January 2025 and various joint exercises.
