Anambra auto makers hail FG local vehicle policy

Two automobile manufacturers in Anambra State, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing and Jojo Motors Auto Assembly, have welcomed the Federal Government's new policy mandating Ministries and Agencies to purchase locally manufactured vehicles. Innoson's Managing Director, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, emphasized the importance of the focus on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and announced that his company is investing in the production of CNG-powered trucks and electric vehicles. He also noted that the rising fuel costs make CNG an attractive alternative for motorists and businesses.
