Mozambique and U.S. Sign Agreement Valued At Over 500 Million Dollars

On April 30, 2026, Mozambique and the United States signed a memorandum of understanding valued at 537.5 million dollars under the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). This agreement, known as 'Compact Two', aims to enhance connectivity and coastal resilience in Mozambique, particularly in the central province of Zambezia. The decision to proceed with this Compact reflects ongoing trust in the cooperation between the two countries.
