'My Father's Shadow' wins Best Movie at AMVCA

'My Father’s Shadow' was awarded Best Movie at the 2026 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, winning the top prize in a competitive category. Uzor Arukwe was named Best Lead Actor for his role in 'Colours of Fire', while Linda Ejiofor won Best Lead Actress for 'The Serpent’s Gift'. Lateef Adedimeji also received recognition by winning Best Indigenous Movie (West Africa) for 'Lisabi'.
