The figures were presented on October 28, 2026, in Guiglo at a meeting of the Regional HIV/AIDS Committee chaired by prefect Boka Kouassi Vincent. Regional Health Director Dr. Jules Galla Bi Koffi said all pregnant women diagnosed with HIV had been placed on treatment and that their viral suppression rate was 100%.
