FIMEC 2026: The White Paper Presented as the New Roadmap for Skills Development

The second edition of the International Forum on Trades and Skills (FIMEC 2026) concluded on July 16, 2026 at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan, in the presence of the Minister of Employment, Me Adama Kamara, and the President of CESEC, Eugène Aka Aouélé. The closing ceremony featured the official presentation of the White Paper, a document resulting from the forum's deliberations aimed at guiding vocational training reforms in Côte d'Ivoire. The Director General of AGEFOP, Mrs. Karitia Coulibaly De Medeiros, stated that this document gathers findings and recommendations to strengthen the national skills development system. The forum coincided with the United Nations' World Youth Skills Day.
