Centum Investment Company bought back only 16.76% of its targeted shares, despite extending the repurchase period. The firm acquired 10.99 million shares against a target of 65.56 million, due to a rally in share price reaching as high as 64% above the maximum buyback price of Sh9.51. The shares acquired will be held as Treasury shares.
