Stop opposition politics and integrate with the Federal Government, Soludo tells South-East leaders

Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo urged South-East political leaders to abandon opposition politics and back President Bola Tinubu’s re-election at a stakeholders’ meeting in Awka. He said Tinubu’s 5,000 votes in Anambra in 2023 had helped attract projects to the state and region, and called for stronger grassroots mobilisation, including door-to-door campaigning. Soludo acknowledged government efforts to stabilise foreign exchange availability and address fiscal challenges, while saying more work remained. APGA National Chairman Sly Ezeokenwa welcomed the cross-party alliance and pledged his party’s support for Soludo’s political direction.
