Electoral Reform: Before Consultations, Affi N'Guessan Receives NDI Delegation

Pascal Affi N'Guessan, president of the Ivorian Popular Front (FPI), met Monday in Abidjan with a delegation from the National Democratic Institute (NDI) led by Christopher Fomunyoh. The talks focused on the political context in Ivory Coast and reform of electoral management bodies, following the dissolution of the electoral commission in May. Fomunyoh reaffirmed the NDI's commitment to supporting Ivory Coast in democracy and good governance, emphasizing the need for inclusive consultations to establish new electoral structures.
