Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni reshuffled the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, appointing Adonia Ayebare as minister, with Calvin Echodu and Kyeyune Haruna Kasolo as deputy ministers. However, Ayebare and Echodu reportedly hold dual citizenship, which disqualifies them under Ugandan law. They were barred from taking the oath of office pending regularization of their citizenship status. This leaves the ministry in uncertainty, with Kasolo, who has no diplomatic background, as the only appointee able to assume office.
