Beni: concern over the food situation of detainees at Kangbayi, without food for two weeks

The civil society of Beni raises alarm over detention conditions at Kangbayi prison, where several inmates report going without food for at least two weeks. The prison's food depot is empty, worsening the situation amid overcrowding of 2,358 inmates for an initial capacity of 250. The civil society calls on authorities to urgently intervene to improve food, health, and detention conditions for prisoners.
