Governor Alia inaugurates task force for Benue varsity take-off

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr Hyacinth Alia, has inaugurated a 12-member task force to facilitate the smooth take-off of the University of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Ihugh. The committee is chaired by Prof. Leonard Shirgba, with Dr Johnson Echor as secretary. Alia emphasized that the university aims to empower youths through education, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and to strengthen Benue's position as the nation's food basket. He charged the task force with establishing the necessary structures and policies for the institution's successful launch.
