NASA Chief Applauds Morocco’s Leap Into the Artemis Accords

On April 29, Morocco became the 64th country to sign the Artemis Accords during a ceremony in Rabat, where Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita signed on behalf of the kingdom. NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman welcomed this membership, highlighting the historical ties between the United States and Morocco, the first nation to recognize the U.S. in 1777. Isaacman also noted Morocco's growing capabilities in Earth observation, which will contribute to space exploration efforts.
