Despite security effort, Nigeria not safe, secure yet - Adamu Bakoji

Security expert Abdullahi Bokaji Adamu, retired Army Captain and Country Director of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), stated that Nigeria has recorded some security gains but is not yet fully secure. He reacted to President Bola Tinubu's third anniversary speech. Adamu noted that some regions are safer, but kidnappings and bandit attacks continue in the North-West and North-Central. He emphasized that improvements are uneven across states.
