NGO DCDD supports the temporary reception of migrants from the United States

The NGO Debout Congolais pour le Développement Durable (DCDD) supports the Congolese government's decision to welcome migrants from the United States, stating that it aligns with the DRC's international commitments. Provincial coordinator Daniel Ntumba Tshimanga emphasized that funding is provided by the U.S. government and that the migrants' stay will be temporary. He also called for a humanitarian approach in response to security concerns, highlighting the obligation to protect vulnerable individuals.
