SFU probes multi-billion-dollar fraud in oil sector

The Police Special Fraud Unit (SFU) has begun investigations into alleged massive fraud in Nigeria's oil and gas sector, following complaints and intelligence reports. One case involves a contract padded by over $90 million. An NGO has threatened to escalate the matter to the National Assembly and the American Senate if the investigation is obstructed, claiming that the companies involved have links to the United States.
