Amnesty Calls for Probe into Alleged AK-47 Threat by Edo APC Chairman

Amnesty International Nigeria has called on security agencies to investigate politicians accused of making threats of political violence ahead of the 2027 elections. Amnesty criticized the Nigerian security forces' response to these public threats, emphasizing that such statements violate electoral laws and should be met with accountability for inciting violence.
